How can Chiropractic help blood pressure?
Blood pressure is something we all need so our blood can flow through out our entire bodies. However there’s no blood pressure that’s perfect for everyone. When one hears that “normal “ blood pressure is 120 over 80, that’s an average. Blood pressure changes from day to day because of exercise, emotional upheavals, alcoholic intake, occupation or very simply because of what time of day it is.
If blood pressure stays very low it’s called hypotension and if it remains high it’s called it’s called hypertension. High blood pressure is something many people suffer from and yet in most cases, the cause of high blood pressure is unknown. It’s called “essential”, “idiopathic” or primary hypertension. In some cases there is a specific cause such as kidney disease or medications.
Although the cause of high blood pressure is a mystery, theories regarding its cause abound. That may be why many people are investigating non-drug approaches
Chiropractic is not a blood pressure treatment but is one of the best things you can do for your blood pressure, as well as the rest of your body. Doctors of Chiropractic perform spinal adjustments to correct spinal misalignments, which alter the balance of your body and cause changes in your nervous system. But when Chiropractors correct these misalignments the body can correct imbalances including blood pressure and return your body back to optimal health. Proper nutrition, exercise, rest, along with a healthy spine are all important for optimal well-being.
